In-Flight Connectivity via Satellite – Aeroam's next-generation Ka-band satellite connectivity solution is designed with true broadband connectivity in mind. The solution is offered on either a Ka-only configuration, suitable for fleets covering geographies currently served by Ka-band satellites (such as Europe), or a dual Ka/Ku-band antenna for global fleets. The use of Ka-band allows Aeroam to offer high-performance services at lower costs compared to existing solutions. Satellite connectivity is utilized for both of Aeroam's connectivity products: GSM roaming and WiFi- based broadband internet.
